Our Merlot is from the 2016 Vintage and is the one grape that we no longer grow due to the 2004 winery horror movie “Sideways” when Paul Giamatti proclaims that he will not drink effing Merlot and the demand for Merlot crashed. We uproot our Merlot vines and have been reluctant to replant ever since. Aged for 34 months in both used and new French oak, our Merlot reflects a well balanced approach between spice, fruit and age. Drink now through 2025.
